Bowenpally: A meeting of the Telugu Desam Secunderabad Cantonment constituency was held here on Thursday, following the orders issued by TDP president L Ramana. The meeting resolved to make the party's dharna on December 13 at Dharnas Chowk, Domalguda, and NTR Stadium successful,
Addressing the meeting, Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency general secretary Muppidi Madhukar alleged that the TRS government after it assumed office for the second term failed to take up any development/welfare programmes.
It also failed in all sectors because of which prices had risen to Rs 180-200, causing severe hardships to the poor and middle-class families. He said these families were unable to purchase vegetables. He demanded that the State government wake up and take remedial measures.
The meeting called upon the party activists in Hyderabad district to participate in December 13 programme in large numbers and to make successful. Among those present were TDP activists AS Raju, T S Narahari, Narsing, Jayaraj, Mudiraj, Venkatesh, Kiran, Sairam, Venkat Rao, Venkat, Mahender, Nagaraj Goud, Srinivas Yadav and Ravinder.
