On the occasion of fourth anniversary of the Lakshmi Venkateshwara Devasthanam located at Anand Bagh in Malkajgiri division, Brahmotsavam celebrations are being held at the temple with religious fervor.

Malkajgiri: On the occasion of fourth anniversary of the Lakshmi Venkateshwara Devasthanam located at Anand Bagh in Malkajgiri division, Brahmotsavam celebrations are being held at the temple with religious fervor. The celebrations which started on Saturday and would come to an end on Wednesday. On Tuesday, 'Suprabhata Seva', 'nitya homam' and 'Kalyanotsavam' were performed to the deity on a grand note.

In the evening, Hanuman chariot was taken out in a procession from the temple to Malkajgiri crossroads amidst women's Kolatam and Kerala traditional music performances. As part of Brahmotsavam, various rituals such as 'Sudarshana Homam', 'Maha Purnahuthi', 'Vasanthotsavam', 'Mahakumba Samprokshana', and 'Pushpa Yagam' were performed in the premises of the temple.

Those who visited the temple and offered prayers include Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy, Congress leaders Nandikanti Sridhar, Jeedi Srinivas, Malkajgiri circle GHMC deputy commissioner Venugopal, the temple manager Chandramohan, Sudhakar and others.

The main priest of the temple Mudum Venkata Ramanacharyulu and priest Tulisi Ramanacharyulu have been performing puja programs. The main priest Venkata Ramanacharyulu, Tulisi Ramanacharyulu and temple manager Chandramohan appealed to devotees to participate in the celebrations on the last day and receive the blessings of 'Swamy.'
