Uppal: Telangana Cab Drivers Association' (TCDA) held a meeting at Uppal on Tuesday. They criticised online transportation network companies like Ola and Uber making their livelihood harder.
The association's working president Yerram Srinivasulu expressed worry stating that drivers don't have and welfare schemes or financial security although most of them work for 18 hours a day including odd hours.
"It' is high time to constitute cab drivers' welfare association where various cab drivers associations come under one roof to fight for their rights," he added. Later, identity cards have been distributed. TCDA president Anand, general secretary Anjanna, Krishna Mohan, Salauddin and others were present.
