Begum Bazar: A candlelight protest march was taken out by women demanding action against the in-laws of Rushika Solanki, at Rajasthani Sainik Shatrya Mali Sangh Bhavan in Kolsavadi here on Sunday.

Organised by Mali Sangh, hundreds of women participated in the March. They demanded immediate police action against the in-laws of Rushika Solanki who had committed suicide allegedly due to harassment over dowry. She was married to Amarchand Solanki three years ago and they had a 2-year-old son.

Rushika Solanki's friends and family members in association with Rajasthani Sainik Shatrya Mali Sangh even created a community page on a social networking sites under the tagline 'Justice for Rushika Solanki' and running a campaign against domestic violence and dowry harassment. Several people expressed support to the family on the page.
