Chimp injures caretaker

Bahadurpura: During maintenance works, a female chimpanzee 'Suzi' managed to come out of the night enclosure and attacked head mali A Yadaiah while he at the primate area on Monday afternoon.

Soon after receiving the information, the zoo veterinary team immediately rushed to the spot and tranquilised the chimp and relocated it back into the enclosure. The injured person immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. He is stated to stable and kept under the observation of doctors.
