Concrete bases choking trees to death
One could see several trees on the roadside and pavements, which have been covered with concrete on their base leaving no water to enter the roots in front of Forum Sujana Mall, KPHB colony.

Concerned pedestrians and commuters are trying to intimate the officials and raise awareness on social media sites so that the civic officials notice this and act accordingly.
A daily commuter shares, "I see the bases of many trees being covered with concrete during repairing a pavement or footpath. This way there is no space for water to seep into the ground and give much-needed water to the roots.
Due to this the trees are dying slowly. I request the civic authorities to instruct their workers to leave some space during repairs so that It won't be a concern for all."
