Cops arrest one for brewing liquor

Peddamul: On a tip off, the excise and enforcement officials on Tuesday raided a place in Nagulapalli village where adulterated liquor was being brewed. The officials arrested Mogilappa for indulging in brewing liquor illegally.

They seized chemicals and bottles used in preparing the liquor. "Another person involved in the illegal business is absconding. We are tracing others involved in it," the officials added. People of the mandal demanded officials to take stringent action against officials hand in glove with the miscreants.
