Addressing the gathering, Srinivas Yadav urged the party cadre not to get disappointed over the defeat in the elections as success and defeat were part and part of elections. He exhorted them to focus instead on the development of the constituency and public issues. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and KTR gave the 32-year old Saikiran Yadav an opportunity to contest in the Lok Sabha elections to encourage youngsters in politics. All the TRS party workers strove hard for the victory but he was defeated and there was no use blaming anyone for the defeat, he said.

The Minister advised BJP candidate Kishan Reddy, who won the elections to remain humble and not arrogant in politics and also told him not to raise issues based on religion, castes and regions after the elections but focus on the development of the constituency.

He advised the cadre to stay amidst people and focus on various issues in the constituency.

Kaleru Venkatesh, MLA of Amberpet constituency, urged the party leaders to give top priority to Amberpet constituency as it was the BJP's stronghold, in order to strengthen the party in the constituency. Referring to the communal tensions in the constituency due to a land disputes, he urged the Minister to address the sensitive issue by bringing together for discussions, elders of the both the communities and government officials.

Talasani Saikiran Yadav, Secunderabad TRS candidate who was defeated, thanked the party cadre for working sincerely for his victory, because of whose efforts he could secure as many as 3,32,000 votes in the constituency. He urged the cadre to take advantage of being ruling party activists and focus on the development of the constituency.

He exhorted them to make the constituency a stronghold of TRS party again by next elections. He thanked all the corporators, MLAs and party activists for their constant support during the elections. Among those who attended the meeting include corporators Puli Jagan, Padmavathi Reddy, Kaleru Padma, Gariganti Sridevi, TRS leaders Diddi Rambabu, Gariganti Ramesh, Chikkadi Narsimha Reddy, EkkalaKanna, T Krishna Goud, Bhaskar Goud, Venkatesh Goud, Lingam Goud, Lavangam, Anjaneyulu and others.
