Madhura Nagar: Suspicious Sounds were heard from the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) while a voter SK Prasad was casting his vote at a polling booth in Madhura Nagar's Sri Indu School. All the officials at polling centre were startled and were clueless as to the sound. After calling the security personnel, they verified and clarified that there ws nothing wrong with the EVM and it was found working accurately.

Preceding Officer clarified that, "As the voter is unaware of the EVM usage, he might have got confused or voted twice or pressed the two different party buttons at once. That might have caused sounds."

After an enquiry into the matter, it was learnt that the sound emanated from the EVM as the voter pressed the button hard and twice. But, only one vote was registered said the polling officer at 160 polling booth at Sri Indu School, Madhura Nagar.
