LB Nagar: Government officials and politicians shout slogans of 'Saaf Hyderabad-Shaandar Hyderabad' to maintain cleanliness in the city. However, these slogans are not showing any impact on people.

Garbage bins are seen overflowing near LB Nagar Metro Station, emanating foul smell. Commuters and Metro passengers passing by the spot feel uncomfortable because of the stench. They want officials to clear the garbage at regular intervals and keep the place clean.

"It is completely the mistake of officials because they have not cleared the dustbins even after the bins are overflowing with garbage. Garbage collectors come once in the morning to clear, and the rest of the day they just leave it. These conditions lead to such problems," says Suresh, a land dealer.

"We got habituated to such conditions in the city. At least, the officials should have the responsibility to clear the dustbins in public places, or else they should arrange more garbage cans in the area, as the flow of public is high at the Metro stations," says Nandini, a Metro commuter.
