Garbage nuisance enrages residents
The residents are irked by the stinking and overflowing garbage lying on the sides of the road here. Because of the fast moving vehicles and blowing winds, the garbage is also spreading on the road making it difficult for commuters to pass by.

The garbage is also emanating foul smell making the passerby uncomfortable. The residents also lament that the heaps of garbage became a breeding ground for mosquitoes, pigs, and stray dogs.
Pallavi Reddy, a resident, said, "We have informed about the issue to the authorities cornered about the unattended garbage verbally and also through social media.
A written complaint was sent to them, but the authorities took no action, so far. She also said that the GHMC workmen used to clean the garbage at least once in a week, but now they don't even bother to clean the area.
