GHMC chief inspects flyover, underpass works
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Dana Kishore inspected the ongoing underpass and flyover works in the LB Nagar on Tuesday.
LB Nagar: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Dana Kishore inspected the ongoing underpass and flyover works in the LB Nagar on Tuesday. He was accompanied by LB Nagar MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy. He inspected the works at Nagole and LB Nagar Ring Road.
Speaking to media after the inspections at LB Nagar, Dana Kishore said that the MLA Sudheer Reddy had given a report on the status of the construction works and reported small issues to be addressed in the flyover construction. He said that inspections were being conduct as part of finding solutions to the said issues. He expressed satisfaction on the progress of the works.
He said that two flyovers, one at Kamineni Hospital and another at LB Nagar junction, were made operational and assured that all the flyovers and underpasses undertaken in the LB Nagar surroundings would be completed by the year 2020. Dana Kishore said that beautification of all the parks in the constituency would be done. He thanked the MLA and local corporators for their cooperation for the development of the constituency.
Devireddy Sudheer Reddy said that the constituency has been facing drinking water and drainage issues. He said that he discussed the issues with KTR and assured that the issues would be addressed very soon.
Special trunk lanes are being laid to prevent water logging in the colonies, he said. Among those who accompanied the GHMC commissioner during his visit include zonal commissioner Srinivas Reddy, deputy commissioner Mukund Reddy, Mansoorabad corporator Koppula Vittal Reddy and others.
