GHMC Elections 2020: Arrangements underway for the Chief Minister's K Chandrasekhar Rao's public meeting on November 28 at LB Stadium ahead of the GHMC election on December 1.
Hyderabad: Arrangements underway for the Chief Minister's K Chandrasekhar Rao's public meeting on November 28 at LB Stadium ahead of the GHMC election on December 1. At the public meeting, the Chief Minister is said to be discussing the GHMC progress report for the last six years.
Ministers KT Rama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav inspected the arrangements at the stadium. Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and party leader Karne Prabhakar were also present. The Commissioner of Police explained the security arrangements in and around the stadium to the minister KT Rama Rao.
The TRS party is extensively campaigning for the GHMC election and the party working president shouldered the responsibility to seek support for the party candidates. The minister can be seen participating in the roadshows for public support. It is learned that Rama Rao has instructed the party officials to ensure roadshows in all the divisions in Greater Hyderabad.
The TRS party is taking part in the election from all the 150 divisions. Of them, the party accorded the ticket to 85 women candidates, 17 seats to minorities, 13 to SCs and three to STs.
