GHMC increases ad rates by 50 %
To be applied from the second half of 2019-20
Hyderabad: GHMC decided to increase the advertisement rates by 50 percent in Greater Hyderabad division. The advertisement rates will be implemented from the second half of the current financial year 2019-2020.
GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar said, "As per the decision taken in standing committee meeting, hoardings, central dividers, neon glow signboards, bus shelters, wall paintings, glass posters, pillar boards, shop shutters, balloon, umbrellas, slides, short films, auto back portions, bus, cab, van and all others types of advertisements will be increased bt 50 percent.
There are over 2,600 hoardings in GHMC zone. The present price of advertisements was finalised in 2015. With city rapidly expanding and achieving significant progress in IT and other industrial sectors, the advertising charges has been increased. GHMC ordered the advertisement agencies to pay the revised rates within 30 days.
