GHMC workers fail to clear garbage

Sainathpuram: Garbage is being dumped on the inner roads of Sainathpuram colony recklessly. The GHMC workers come to the area on a regular basis but do not clean the garbage from the roadsides.

The garbage that is left on the sides of the road is attracting a large number of dogs in this area. Besides, there are many mosquitoes and foul smell emanating from the area.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Ankita R, a resident of the area, said, "The GHMC sweepers come once in a month to clean this garbage, when they are asked about it they say there is shortage of workers. These sweepers just clean the beginning of the roads and leave the other parts as it is."
