A number of children play near the temple, and are at a grave risk due to the dilapidated condition of the temple. Locals say that the structure is so weak that it may come down anytime.

One R Ramulu said that society members had complained to Endowment Department about the situation and urged it to demolish the temple building. The Endowment department also gave notices to Shree Prasanna Hanuman Devasthanam but after that things came to a standstill.
