Trimulgherry: The heaps of garbage on the road is a common site in Sri Nagar Colony of Trimulgherry. Due to lack of garbage bins, the residents and nearby people are throwing garbage and domestic waste on the road.

The residents and commuters are facing a severe inconvenience due to the wastage and stinking smell which is emanating from the dumped garbage. The residents alleged that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) workers were not attending to clear the garbage for weeks now.

Even if the GHMC workers are collecting wastage and disposal from door-to-door, but still garbage is seen in the colony, they said. "Heaps of garbage lies on the roads. It is causing a huge inconvenience to the residents and commuters. The locals are throwing the waste wrapped in plastic covers and this is matter of concern," said Sunil Kumar, a resident of the colony.

"There are no proper GHMC bins provided because of which residents are dumping the waste wherever they want," he added. When it is cleaned and informed to the residents to dump the waste only in the bins, they are least bothered
