HM presents scholarships to Qureshi community students
TS Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali distributed scholarship cheques among the students belonging to Qureshi community at Shahgunj near Charminar on Wednesday.
Charminar: TS Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali distributed scholarship cheques among the students belonging to Qureshi community at Shahgunj near Charminar on Wednesday. Islamic Scholar Maulana Md Hussamuddin Sani Aqil (Jafar Pasha), Member, Muslim Personal Law Board, and Ameer, Amaraat Millat-e-Islamia Telangana and AP, MLA (Charminar) Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and TS Wakf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem were present.
At the event which was organised by All India Jamiat-ul-Quresh, scholarships worth Rs 10 lakh were distributed amongst 255 students of Intermediate, graduate and post-graduate course from across twin cities.
Also present on the occasion were Pathergatti division corporator Syed Sohail Quadri, Jamiat-ul-Quresh State President Moin Babu Chaudhary, Jamiat City General Secretary Md Fareeduddin Qureshi, Jamiat members Dr Arif Mukkaram, Abdul Qadeer, Mohammed Ilyas, Qureshi, president Youth Wing of group and others.
