Man from Visakhapatnam dies after jumping into Durgam Cheruvu
A 24-year-old man hailing from Visakhapatnam of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh state died after jumping into Durgam Cheruvu on Sunday.
A 24-year-old man hailing from Visakhapatnam of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh state died after jumping into Durgam Cheruvu on Sunday. He was identified as Sheikh Bilal Husssain.
Visitors at Durgam Cheruvu alerted the police who rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The man was identified based on the copy of his Aadhaar card, found in his pocket. The police also found a flight ticket of Indigo that was scheduled on Friday morning from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad.
The man resorted to the extreme step due to the depression over not getting a job since the completion of BTech. Family members said that he left a suicide note bidding adieu to the family.
The police handed over the body to the family after an autopsy and launched an investigation.
