To avoid traffic chaos, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) constructed a new steel bridge at Punjagutta which will provide direct entry into Punjagutta graveyard.

Hyderabad: To avoid traffic chaos, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) constructed a new steel bridge at Punjagutta which will provide direct entry into Punjagutta graveyard. The construction work costed Rs 17 crore and will be inaugurated by Animal Husbandry Minister, T Srinivas Yadav on January 20.

Vehicles traveling to KBR Park from Nagarjuna Circle, Punjagutta via Banjara Hills Road Number 3 will have a different experience with the new Punjagutta Access Road Steel Bridge and the widened road.

According to the GHMC officials, an exit road from the graveyard has also been developed. The total length of the Punjagutta Access Road Steel Bridge is 140 metres which include the 83-metre steel bridge portion and 57 metre approaches. The total length of the road widened is 130 meters and the steel portion is 58.55 metres.
