Corporator-elect from Goshamahal Lal Singh said that he would strive for providing basic needs to people, including double bedroom houses, roads, drainage system in his division. Lal Singh won with a huge majority of 7,369 votes defeating his nearest rival and sitting corporator Mukesh Singh (TRS).

Lal Singh spoke of the problems faced by the slums in his division, including Jumerat Bazar, Pardiwada and Jali Hanuman. "Still, people live in thatched huts in slums. I will pursue their case for double bedroom houses, with my MLA, and ensure they get houses," he assured.

Asserting that he fully knows problems of residents in his division, as he also lives there, Singh talks about providing livelihood opportunities to idol-makers in Dhoolpet. "Many are dependent on idol-making in my area. The Covid19 pandemic severely affected their business during the Ganesh and Navratri festivals. My efforts would be to provide them alternative livelihood," he said.

Singh said he would not tolerate encroachment of lands. "If anybody indulges in grabbing of temple lands or any other property, I will be the first to complain to MRO, RDO and collector and stop encroachments." To a question on the demand of bribes from people who construct houses, Singh said he was a respectable person in society. He would not indulge in corruption. "I am a humble person.

People have shown their love by making me victorious with a huge majority. I will always be at their service," he said. His focus would be to increase facilities in government schools and raise their strength. He wants people of his ward to utilise government benefits like double bedroom houses, 'Shadi Mubarak' scheme and pledged to support them.

The BJP leader said that after taking oath, he would start the construction of his office where people can come with their grievances.
