Vikarabad: The Superintendent of Police M Narayana said the immersion process in the district passed off peacefully. He was glad that the people cooperated for the smooth conduct of the programme.
He thanked the members of Vinayaka Utsava Committee for following the instructions given by the police to make the event successful. He also thanked the personnel of police, municipal, revenue, forest, fire and other departments and the people of the district for organising the event without any unwanted incidents. He also thanked the Muslim devout all for peaceful conduct of Muharram.
