Inter-school events to mark International Peace Day
The Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad and Rotary Club of SMART Hyderabad are jointly organising PEACE FEST 2019, an inter-school competition with the theme of ‘Global Peace and Conflict Resolution based on Ancient Scriptures,’ on September 21.

It will be held from 8 am to 8 pm to mark the occasion of International Peace Day.
Speaking about the Peace Fest at Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills, on Wednesday, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, Regional President of Hare Krishna Movement and Akshaya Patra Foundation of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, said, "The main motto of conducting these competitions is to evoke the thought process of schoolchildren towards the need for existence of peace in the community. It is our endeavor to bring all the children on to a single platform to curb the financial and social imbalances."
Along with Prabhuji, representatives of Rotary Club of Smart Hyderabad & Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, also participated in the press meet and invited the schools to ensure huge participation in the event.
