A Judge who has passed verdict in many difficult cases has failed to solve the biggest problem in his life. He gave himself a wrong verdict and sentenced himself to death. The incident in which a court judge hanged himself due to a family dispute took place on Sunday (March 24) in Nampally, Hyderabad. According to the police, A Manikantha (36), resident of Flat No. 402, Pochamma Basti, Srinidhi Residency, Bagh, Amberpet, Hyderabad, is working as Judicial First Class Magistrate (Excise) in Nampally Court.

He got married to Lalita from Bhutpur mandal center of Mahbubnagar district seven years ago. This couple has a son. But since two years ago, there was a conflict between the husband and wife. As a result, both the husband and wife have been living separately for some time now. Manikantha's wife Lalitha is staying at her parents house. Manikantha is residing in his plot.

Recently, Manikantha's mother was admitted to the hospital due to illness. His father remains in the hospital and takes care of his mother. Manikantha called his wife on Sunday (March 24) afternoon and had another fight. Manikantha was deeply offended by this and took a tough decision. Professionally, the Judge who listens to arguments from both sides, weighs who is wrong and who is right, and sentences the defendant... has taken a wrong decision in his life. After the fight, Judge hanged himself with Chunni in the bedroom and committed suicide.

Manikantha did not come out for a long time and there was no response even after knocking on the door. When the family members got suspicious, they broke the door and saw Manikantha hanging from the fan. The locals informed the police. The police reached the spot and shifted Manikantha's body to Osmania. On the complaint of Manikantha's father Srisailam, the Amberpet police registered a case and started investigation.

On learning this, fellow judges and lawyers reached the Osmania mortuary and expressed deep shock. Manikantha's death caused a local tragedy.
