He will hold one-on-one meetings after K’taka polls

Hyderabad: Will danger bells ring for non-performing leaders, including some MLAs in the BRS party after the Karnataka results are out? This is the hot topic that is being discussed in the BRS circles as party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to hold a one-on-one meeting with them. He would be discussing their strengths and weaknesses by placing the survey reports.

KCR does not want to take any chance in the run up to the Assembly elections as he has targeted to win 100 seats. He had got a number of constituency-wise and leader-wise surveys done to understand the ground situation, the popularity of the leader, the opinion of the voters about their leader and their chances to win the polls.

A senior MLA said this proposed meeting assumes importance as KCR had reprimanded some MLAs for allegedly taking money from Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries. He will also try to find out who was their main opponent in the constituency and share this information with them and guide them on how to effectively counter the opponents.

This meeting is likely to give a clarity on who could face the axe in case their graph does not improve within a specified time. KCR had done a similar exercise before the 2018 elections.
