Kukatpally: As the indefinite RTC workers' strike entered its eleventh day, a rally was taken out by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) under the banner of all-parties from Prashanthnagar bus- stand to local depot on Tuesday. Members of the Kukatpally Bar Association joined the rally to express their solidarity with the strike.

The protestors formed a human chain at the Y junction. The lawyers criticised the minister concerned and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for not responding to the recent suicides of the RTC employee and instead holding out threat to dismiss the strikers. 'This was regrettable', they pointed out.

The lawyers stated that the days of KCR were numbered as he sought to suppress the RTC employees after securing Telangana statehood with their cooperation during the 'sakula janula samme'. They cautioned that there was no government without the employees and that Telangana was of the people.

The days of people expressing their disgust toward KCR were near, the lawyers claimed. Among those who participated in the human chain were Medchal district unit BJP president Madhavaram Kanha Rao, Balajinagar corporator Kavya Reddy, lawyers and RTC JAC leaders.
