Locals raise a stink over garbage heaps

Srinagar Colony: Garbage has been piling up everywhere in Srinagar Colony and in Ganapathi Complex areas. Locals demand that the officials of GHMC address the issue and ensure that the garbage is removed on regular basis.

It appears that neither sanitation workers nor the GHMC officials seem to be concerned about the lifting of piled-up garbage from the colonies. Locals complain that the sanitation staff has not been removing the garbage every day.

One can see tree branches that fell a week ago at Madhura Nagar main road still lying on the road. Despite several complaints, the tree branches have not been removed by the sanitation workers, locals alleged.
