Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president (MRPS) Manda Krishna Madiga called on senior State BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy here on Sunday and urged him to help expedite the process of categorization of scheduled castes.
Hyderabad (NSS): Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president (MRPS) Manda Krishna Madiga called on senior State BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy here on Sunday and urged him to help expedite the process of categorization of scheduled castes.
Later, speaking to the media, the MRPS leader alleged that some selfish elements were politicizing the SC categorization issue with an intention to get publicity in the media. Reiterating that the SC community would be strengthened only after their categorization, Krishna Madiga said that the Mala brethren should realise the fact that the classification of the SC community would fetch them more benefits.
Expressing the hope that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre would take up the issue favourably, the MRPS leader said senior BJP leaders like Kishan Reddy and Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu were backing their demand.
