Osmania University staff stage protest
Employees of Osmania University staged a protest demanding payment of their salaries at the University’s administrative building on the campus premises here on Wednesday. NGO’s, Technical staff union, Employees union leaders participated in the protest.

Speaking on the occasion, the protesting employees said, "As the salaries ave not been disbursed till now, employees are facing financial problems like delay in the payment of house loan, education loan and some other loans which is leading to cheque bounce issues. Though we are protesting, there is no response from the respected officials."
They warned the officials concerned that if the authorities continue to remain adamant, they would intensify their protests by cutting off power supply and shutting down the mess. Technical staff association president J Rajeswar, genearal secretary M D Ahmed, employees union president Shiva Shankar, general secretary Akbar Beg, Nagaraju and others participated in the programme.
