A damaged manhole has been causing inconvenience to the residents of Fortview Colony in Rajendra nagar since more than a month now.
Rajendra Nagar: A damaged manhole has been causing inconvenience to the residents of Fortview Colony in Rajendra nagar since more than a month now. This overflow of drainage often leads to water logging in the area. The water remains stagnant on the roads and cause inconvenience for the commuters and motorists.
Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Mohammad Hussain, a resident of the area, said, "There is an unpleasant smell that has been caused by this damaged manhole. Mosquito menace has become rampant in this area. It has become very difficult for the locals of this area to walk on this road because of the stagnated water. We have been requesting the concerned authorities about the issue, but our requests to them have been disregarded."
