Polling for 150 divisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) began at 7 am today.
Polling for 150 divisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) began at 7 am today. As many as 1,122 candidates are in the poll fray.
Around 74,67,025 voters including 38,89,637 men voters and 35,76,941 women voters are going exercise their vote. Mailardevpally constitutes highest number of voters of 79,290 while Ramachandrapuram division has least number of voters with 27,998.
The election commission has arranged 101 polling booths in 150 divisions of GHMC. Kondapur division has the highest number 99 polling booths while the least from Ramachandrapuram with 33. About 20 candidates are contesting from Jangampet division, highest number of candidates from all divisions while the least with three candidates from Uppal, Barkas, Jeedimetla, Tolichowki, Nawabsaheb Kunta.
