Pragathi Vidyanikethan admissions open
The school has been providing free English medium education to children of backward, downtrodden communities since the last seven years, Chukka Ramaiah said. Apart from free education from class 5 to degree, the school provides hostel facilities to the poor.
Musheerabad: Pragathi Vidyanikethan, a school run with the support of Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TSUTF) at People's Progress, is inviting applications for admissions in classes 5, 6, 7 and 8. This was announced by the school advisor Chukka Ramaiah at a media conference held at Sundaraiah Vignan Kendra here on Wednesday.
The school has been providing free English medium education to children of backward, downtrodden communities since the last seven years, Chukka Ramaiah said. Apart from free education from class 5 to degree, the school provides hostel facilities to the poor.
Ramaiah said that those candidates who were interested may apply through the website www.peopleprogresstrust.com. They can download the application forms from the website from April 23 to 25. The last date for applications is April 21 and entrance exam would be conducted on April 26 from 10 am to 12 noon in all districts, he said.
The exam would have questions from English, Science and Mathematics and candidates have to mark answers on OMR sheet. Press secretary of People Progress D Dayakar Reddy, TSUTF leaders Manik Reddy, Mahender and others were present on the occasion.
