Osmania University: The Progressive Democratic Students' Union (Vijrumbhana) on Tuesday accused the OU officials of failing to announce post-graduate semester results after the examinations were conducted four months back.

At a press conference in OU Guest House, PDSU (V) leaders Toni and Vijay demanded the OU officials to immediately announce the PG semester exam results, as the delay was causing severe anxiety among students who would lose opportunities of pursuing higher students. The leaders stated that in the past results were announced on time through spot valuation.

Because of the special spot valuation work was entrusted to private software companies there was inordinate delay in the announcement of results. They wanted the OU officials to take responsibility for the delay in the online valuation and do away with it and revive the old system deploying expert professors.

The leaders pointed out that the previous spot valuation was good, but because of the over-enthusiasm of the OU officials in entrusting the work to private software companies was causing a delay in announcement of results.

They sought to know the motive for involving private companies in tabulating the results. The leaders demanded the OU Vice-Chancellor to make a statement on the issue. Among those present at the press meet were leaders Ravi, Venu, Subhakar, B Vijay Diwakar.
