LB Nagar: BN Reddy Nagar division corporator Lakshmi Prasanna Rammohan Goud, along with GHMC officials, went door-to-door in Snahamai Nagar Colony on Friday and urged them to segregate waste into dry and wet wastes. The awareness campaign was undertaken as part of 'Saaf Hyderabad, Shandar Hyderabad' programme.

The corporator urged colony residents to ensure that waste is not dumped in the vacant lands of the colony. She appealed to the colony residents to participate in cleanliness programmes in order to keep their colony clean and make it a Swachh colony.

She stressed that complete cleanliness is possible only when there is public participation and sanitation workers alone can bring cleanliness. Among those who participated in the program include AMHO Manjula Vani, sanitation worker Lakshmaiah, Swachdooths Padma, Uma, SFA Prakash, Govardhar Reddy and others.
