RK Puram railway station gets facelift
South Central Railway (SCR) committee has started renovating the RK Puram Railway Station to provide passenger amenities like platform shelters, water supply, and Foot-over Bridge (FoB) at the railway station.
RK Puram: South Central Railway (SCR) committee has started renovating the RK Puram Railway Station to provide passenger amenities like platform shelters, water supply, and Foot-over Bridge (FoB) at the railway station. Additionally, the platform surface is also being renovated and new clocks are being installed on both platforms of the railway station.
After a several complaints and requests by the passengers of this area, the committee has started upgrading the railway station. The renovation works are said to be completed within one or two months and the station will have a new look for the passengers travelling via the station. Earlier, there were no basic facilities for the passengers like benches, water etc.
The station is being renovated finally for the passengers. Now, they should make proper use of the facilities provided. They can now happily board trains from the railway station without any hassles, said the station guard.
