Musheerabad: Telangana Samachara Bharati honoured several journalists on Sunday to mark the Devarshi Narada Jayanti at Tyagaraya Gana Sabha. The speakers said that Devarshi Narada was an ideal for scribes.
Among the journalists felicitated is T Udayavarlu, secretary of Srikrishna Devarayala Bhasha Nilayam, Eenadu deputy news editor Kanti Srinivas and senior journalist-cartoonist Vaddi Om Prakash.
Hindi Milap editor Subrata Nigam was presented with Vadlamudi Rammohana Rao Memorial Puraskar. Venkat Changavalli, adviser to the police department, Mukesh Sha, director at Bharat Prakashan Ltd and former member of the Planning Commission were also honoured on the occasion.
