Stir against schools in residential colonies
Residents of Habsiguda Street No.8 and V V Nagar on Tuesday continued their demonstration for the second day in front of several schools, including corporates, that have sprung up in residential areas.

They accused the education department of not taking action against such institutions. The residents expressed ire at the proposed location of Narayana Olympiad on a road which is not even 30 ft wide. "If it is opened there would be traffic problems," they pointed out, questioning who would be responsible for any likely accidents.
They accused the school management of not even following the minimum regulations, while stating that a complaint had already been lodged with the department, with a request not to give permission. They warned of protests if the school is launched. Among those who protested were Premnath Reddy, Shanti Kumar, Prakash Reddy, Sudharani, Shanti, Veronica.
