District secretary of Medchal-Malkajgiri Student Federation of India (SFI) R Santhosh demanded Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy to resign holding responsibility for the deaths of Inter students. He was speaking at a signature campaign held at ECIL crossroads on Sunday.
Kapra: District secretary of Medchal-Malkajgiri Student Federation of India (SFI) R Santhosh demanded Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy to resign holding responsibility for the deaths of Inter students. He was speaking at a signature campaign held at ECIL crossroads on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the state government had taken no action against those responsible for the Inter fiasco despite the student protests.
The names of the officials who were responsible for the fiasco were not revealed so far even though the committee submitted its report, he said. He demanded that the Education Minister be held responsible and be dismissed immediately.
The students would continue to fight until the action was taken against those responsible, he said. He condemned the indifference of the state government on the issue despite student suicides. He asked the state government to collect fine from Globerina company for the errors.
He warned the government that the students would continue their fight until the justice is done to the students. Among those who were present include SFI district president Sai Kiran, district vice president SFI Padala Shankar, SFI activists Sai Shantan, Rakesh, Sai, Jahangir and others.
