In a sensational incident took place at Gundala village in Doma Mandal of Vikarabad, some people carried out excavations for hidden treasures.
In a sensational incident took place at Gundala village in Doma Mandal of Vikarabad, some people carried out excavations for hidden treasures. Locals who noticed this caught the excavators and immediately informed the police who arrived at the scene and arrested the accused. Police seized a car and the golden Ganapati idol found during excavations from the accused. The accused were later remanded in custody.
A farmer from Narayanpet district has a farm in Gundala. It is rumoured that some people from Hyderabad went to his farm to carry out excavations on the information of that farmer. This is not the first time hidden treasure has been unearthed in Vikarabad district.
In late July 2019, some people in the village of Ebbanur in the Dharur Mandal found huge silver coins while digging a hole. Upon receiving the information, the police reached there and seized 169 coins.
