I feel they should serve haleem 365 days rather than only during Ramzan." "When we started to serve haleem in our restaurant we were clueless about the response.

The customers love the homely taste and showed their immense love and support. Now we are in our 7th year of serving haleem and are hoping to continue for more years," informed Mohd Younuf Shareef, the owner of Tower Bavarchi.

Grand Bawarchi Hotel, Moosarambagh

Hasan Bin Salam, who owns the hotel, informed that, "Before starting to serve haleem i did a lot of research on haleem making and hired the best haleem ustaad for this. We wanted our customers to have quality haleem and authentic Irani Haleem, not just a mixture of meat and ghee as some haleem centres do.

We have been into haleem business past 15 years and we know what a customer wants." Gopi, a customer, says, "It's been seven months since I shifted to Hyderabad. Everyone talks about haleem. This is the first time I tasted haleem. It is out of this world."

Subhan Hotel,Moosarambagh X Roads

"I myself was an ustaad and have learned to make Haleem. Now due to my age, I cannot sit the whole day to make haleem. It's been 25 years since we have been serving haleem and the process has been same.

We do not compromise on quantity and quality. we need our customers to be satisfied when they leave," says Maqsood Ahmed Khan of Subhan Hotel. Chandrakant, a regular customer, says: " I have known this place for past many years and I do not have haleem elsewhere."

New Swiss Restaurant, Champapet

"My father started this restaurant and now I am looking after it. We don't want our customers to just eat here and leave – we want them to visit here often. When they taste our haleem they should get a homely feeling and richness of taste which they will be able to remember until he visits next time.

Customers come here from LB Nagar and other parts of the city to taste our restaurant's haleem," said Syed Sameer, owner, of New Swiss Restaurant. Nasir, a customer, nods and says: "This place was recommended to me by a colleague. From then onwards I always eat here and order from here. My favourite time is Ramzan because that's when I get to taste my favourite dish haleem which is their speciality."

Mandi Darbar - Malakpet Circle

"Mandi Darbar first started as a biryani house later we took to making Haleem during Ramzan as people started requesting us to serve haleem along with biryani. Our customers are quite happy with our dish," says Mohd Muqeet, owner of Mandi Darbar.

Fayaz, a customer, says, "This place serves quality haleem for less price. When a customer comes to eat he wants quality food to be served at affordable rates. I come here with my family to eat Haleem. This is our favorite food joint for haleem and biryani."

Cafe Needs Restaurant, Malakpet

Mohd Turab, proprietor of Cafe Needs Restaurant, says of immense popularity of his outlet: "Our cafe is very famous and people from Malakpet, Dilsukhnagar and nearby areas come here to have haleem and biryani. This restaurant was started by my father, now I look after it. My father saw the haleem concept getting very popular in Hyderabad that is when they decided to start serving haleem at our restaurant also.

For the past 25 years, customers show their love and support the same way as it was when we started." Amer, a customer, testifies: "My father who used to work here always used to bring haleem from here during Ramzan month. The taste and aroma was delicious and we fell in love with it. We wait for Ramzan so that we could come here and have Haleem. The rich flavor is what brings us here every year."

Chacha Fast Food, Moosarambagh X Roads

"After seeing the popularity of haleem in Hyderabad we started serving chicken haleem at our restaurant. Now it has been seven years. Our customers love the unique taste of our chicken haleem and visit here very often.

Some customers come from LB Nagar to eat here. We are very blessed that our customers are showing us such overwhelming response and we will try to continue this for more upcoming years," says Imtiaz, the proud owner of Chacha Fast Food.

Manjula, a customer, agrees: "My husband used to bring haleem from here and I loved the taste instantly. I am not much fond of mutton haleem and don't eat mutton. The chicken haleem here is the best I have ever tasted."

Lucky Bawarchi, Champapet

"It's been four years since we have been serving haleem during Ramzan. We have customers who come up to us and tell us to start serving haleem all year long. I believe the joy of eating haleem is only in the month of Ramzan.

If we serve haleem for 365 days, customers will not have that excitement," said Mohd Azimuddin, Owner Lucky Bawarchi. Vinod, a customer, shares, "This place serves best haleem in Champapet.

I have been their regular customer for the last two years. I love the unique taste. After trying out haleem from other restaurants I prefer haleem here as they serve quality haleem."
