Three gas godowns seized at Serilingampally

Serilingampally: Chandanagar GHMC Deputy Commissioner Dr N Yadagiri Rao, ACP R Srinivas Yadav, AMOH Dr K S Ravi and TBO Uma on Wednesday seized three gas godowns in Hafeezpet, BK Enclave and Chandanagar areas as they are being run in residential zones, without obtaining valid permissions from GHMC and the gas agencies.

An official release said there was also no trade licence. The operators of the godowns did not obtain fire NOC, too, and any non-compliance with the regulations may cause hazards to the public, according to the release.
