TMREIS students excel in Peace Fest 2019

Hyderabad: Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) students have excelled in inter-school competitions held in the city.

Society Secretary B Shafiullah stated that the students of TMR Schools have given excellent presentation of their skills and bettered the students of the best convent schools of the city at 'Peace Fest 2019.'

At this inter-school competition held with the theme of 'Global Peace and Conflict Resolution' based on ancient scriptures, which was organised by the Hare Krishna Movement in association with Rotary Club of SMART Hyderabad.

As many as 1,020 students from 60 government and private schools participated in essay-writing, elocution, poster making competitions on the theme of Global Peace which was held on the occasion of International Peace Day on September 21.

"A total of 15 prizes out of 24 were won by the students of TMREIS. Dignitaries present at the event were amazed to see the outstanding performance of the students from TMR Schools.

It was a moment of pride and joy for all of us when results were announced, and the students were appreciated by the eminent chief guests. The achievement of the TMR students is one more chapter in the success stories of TMREIS," Shafiullah further added.
