Traffic diversions for Ramzan shopping
In order to relieve congestion, maintain a smooth flow of traffic and to ensure public safety, the traffic police have made arrangements by diverting the traffic from Madina Building towards Himmatpura.

According to Traffic police officials, keeping in view the likelihood of traffic congestion and jams due to Ramzan shopping from Madina to Himmatpura, vehicles will be diverted from May 25 to June 5 or 6 (based on Moon sighting) for Ramzan festival (Idd-Ul-Fitr).
General shoppers
No vehicular traffic – two wheelers, three wheelers and cars – are allowed beyond Mitti ka Sher, Kalikaman, Ladbazar – Motigalli, Panch Mouhalla, Chowk Maidan Khan, Gulzar House and Lakkadkot to avoid traffic congestion and traffic jams and to facilitate the pedestrians.
The commuters are requested to park their vehicles at earmarked places, including Charminar Bus Stand, Quli Qutub Shah Stadium (near City College) and Pension Office at Khilwath, Khilwath Grounds and Mufeed-ul-Alam School Ground at Kotla Aliza.
"The public is requested to note the above and take alternate routes to reach your destinations and cooperate with the Traffic Police," said Additional Commissioner of Police for Traffic Anil Kumar.
