Necklace Road: The Telangana Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that backward and downtrodden communities received immense benefits under the TRS rule. No other previous government strived for the welfare of backward communities as KCR, the minister said. He was speaking at a programme held at Jalavihar on the occasion of joining of Padmashali Association state president Goshika Yadagiri joining TRS party along with his followers on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Yadav said that all the sections of the population are happy under the KCR rule. Several welfare schemes are being implemented by the state government for the welfare of downtrodden and backward communities, he said. Citing various welfare schemes such as Kalyan Lakshmi, pensions to widow, senior citizens, single women and disabled people, he said no other state in India has initiated so many schemes for the poor.

"What could not be done in the last 70 years, was done in just five years, he said referring to the development works done by the TRS government. He urged people to vote for Sai Kiran Yadav, Secunderabad parliament TRS candidate, and ensure that he wins with huge majority.

Among those who attended the programme include the association city president Sudarshan Rao, Suresh, Janyu Manyam, Boora Mallesh, G Pandu, Tulasidas, Hari, Ashok, Shiv Kumar, Sathyanarayana, Niranjan and others.
