The GK Colony bus stop near the RK Puram flyover has become a haven for vendors, who sell their wares to commuters and pedestrians. They don’t have to pay any taxes or licence fee.

The vendor's cart and shop obstruct the view of the buses coming causing inconvenience to the commuters sitting in the bus shelter.
They are forced to stand on the road and face hot sun and rains. Adding to it the bus drivers don't stop the buses at the designated bus stop due to which commuters, particularly the elderly and disabled have to make a sprint to board the bus.
The people who buy eatables from these vendors dump the garbage near the bus stop which causes more inconvenience for the commuters. Authorities must wake up and take action against these vendors and vacate the for the rightful bus travellers.
