Villagers complain against polluting factory
Officials cracked whip on MS Agarwal Foundries Pvt Ltd for allegedly constructing a shed on its premises without taking proper permissions.
Manoharabad: Officials cracked whip on MS Agarwal Foundries Pvt Ltd for allegedly constructing a shed on its premises without taking proper permissions. They made it clear that they should obtain necessary permission from the local administration. The factory located at Chetla Gouraram has been in news for some time on pollution issues.
The people from nearby villages have been protesting over the pollution caused by the factory. Responding to the complaint given by the villagers, joint collector Nagesh directed officials to check the factory about the illegal construction.
District Industries Officer Krishnamurthy, MPDO Jayaram Reddy, MPO Ashok visited the factory. They were not allowed inside initially and later the officials inspected the factory. Upa sarpanch of the village, Sri Hari appealed the authorities to shift the factory for the well-being of the villagers.
