We are creating tomorrow's genius programme concludes

LB Nagar: A two-day programme "We are creating tomorrow's genius" was concluded on a grand scale at Saroornagar Indoor stadium here on Sunday. District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) Venkatesh Rao was the chief guest on the occasion.

A total of 120 students participated under the three categories, including sub-juniors, juniors and seniors. Today, the semi-finals and finals were conducted. Momentos were given away to the winners and runners from TG campus manager Rajashekar.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajashekar said sports fosters personal development encourages self-confidence and conveys values like team spirit, fair-play and responsibility. Academic learning and sports education complement each other. The overall personality of the student increases when sports and education accompanied.

Venkatesh Rao said that the power of reasoning, mental development and vocational specialization comes from the academic education of the students. Therefore, sports along with academics results in the all-round development of the students, he added.

TG campus has sponsored the two-day tournament in Basketball in three different age groups, held at Saroornagar stadium on (date here). Totally, 100 players (boys and girls) participated in this event.
