International Social Work Day was observed at Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) here on Tuesday. A programme on ‘Promoting Importance of Human Relationships’ was held in which the In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof V Uma has participated as chief guest.
Tirupati: International Social Work Day was observed at Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) here on Tuesday. A programme on 'Promoting Importance of Human Relationships' was held in which the In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof V Uma has participated as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, she underlined the importance of improving human relations in every profession. Former Professor of SPMVV V Pushpa Latha has said that deteriorating human relations can be improved through social work.
Dean of Social Sciences Prof K Murugaiah has presided over the programme while Principal of SPW Degree College Dr Mahadevamma, Head of Social Work Department Prof K Anuradha, Dr K Hymavathi and several social workers have participated.
