Newly-appointed TTD Trust Board member takes oath

Chennai-based Chartered Accountant Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan took oath as TTD Trust Board member on Sunday.
Tirumala: Chennai-based Chartered Accountant Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan took oath as TTD Trust Board member on Sunday.
He was administered oath by TTD Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy at Bangaru Vakili at Tirumala temple.
After darshan, he was offered Vedaseervachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam in the shrine. Later, he was presented with Theertha Prasadams, laminated photo and Coffee Table book.
Deputy EOs Ramesh Babu and Sudharani were also present. It may be noted here that Krishna Murthy was appointed as trust board member in place of Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy who resigned recently as trust board member. Prashanthi Reddy, wife of YSRCP Rajya Sabha member and industrialist Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy resigned at the behest of TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy and she was appointed as Local Advisory Committee (LAC), New Delhi, for paying a bigger role in TTD activities in North India.
Meanwhile, with the appointment of Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, the number of people from Tamil Nadu who found a place in the coveted TTD trust board increased to four. The other three are India Cements chairman Srinivasan, ruling DMK MLA Nandakumar and Dr Sankar also from Chennai.
