Visakhapatnam: Properties under the possession of TDP leaders recovered

The value of properties reportedly seized from the TDP leaders in Visakhapatnam district is said to be about Rs 300 crore
Visakhapatnam: As a part of clearing encroached lands, the Revenue Department officials recovered some of the properties under the possession of Visakhapatnam East TDP MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu and Anakapalle former MLA Peela Govind Satyanarayana here on Sunday.
A portion of 'gedda' in Rushikonda (Survey No: 21) about six cents that was under the possession of Ramakrishna Babu and while a part of the land at Anandapuram mandal, GD Palem (Survey No: 156) belonging to Govind was recovered by the officials concerned.
According to the revenue officials, 60 acres of government land was recovered from Govind. An inquiry will be conducted on the violation of norms and the D-Form patta land which is under the possession of Govind.
The value of properties thus seized from the TDP leaders is said to be approximately Rs 300 crore.
In the month of October, the officials demolished a part of the residence of former MP and TDP leader Sabbam Hari. It was followed by clearing the encroachment land of GITAM's properties.
Similarly, the officials took over the government land belonging to Visakhapatnam North MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao near Adavivaram village, Simhachalam.
